I thought with Christmas quickly heading our way.  I'd share with you a Get Well Hamper, I made for a dear friend of mine, a little while back.  I thought maybe it would help give you ideas for Christmas gifts.  Personally the shopping, and whole making of the hamper, is thoroughly enjoyable, and really so simple to put together.  

Do you have that family member, or friend, you just have no idea what to buy each year...?  Then why not put together, a personal basket, or box, of edible goodies, with maybe a selection of smaller gifts, and treats!  

It's a winner every time!

Hello, Didn't last week go so fast? You blink, and they are gone recently, weeks I mean! lol

Well last week, I shared with you my Colourful Quilted Blanket, sent as a birthday gift, and every birthday gift need to be accompanied by a birthday card!  So of course, I made my own. This cute little money, using the cross stitch method.   

The little cheeky monkey is a in family joke, and totally perfect for this card, and person. 

These are so fun to make, that I sit most nights, and make one.  In the next few weeks I'll start posting them all.  I may even start selling some too!

Hi there, I hope you all had a great summer?  My kids are finally back to school, but I have to say, I do really enjoy having them around over the break.  And I know our little Westie, Emma, loves the kids being home.  

I know, I haven't posted a blog in a while, sorry about that. But it doesn't mean, I haven't been creating new projects.  Me with out a project, or two on the go, is completely unheard of.  In fact my family, may think I'm ill, or something, if I'm not making something! lol

One of my projects this holiday, was to create a present, for my dear friends birthday.  Who is one of those people, who has everything, and just that little bit tricky to come up with new ideas for.  But this year, I sent a package full of comfort, and homemade love.

I've photographed it on my sons spare bed, so you can get a better idea of the size. 

The problem now is of course, both of my kids have placed their own orders, for a quilted blanket of their own, after see this one! lol
